David Saranga (born in Tel-Aviv in 1964) is Israel’s ambassador in Romania, where he already served as his first posting in 1997-2000. 

He also served for four years (2014-2018) as the Senior Foreign Affairs Advisor to the President of the State of Israel, Reuven (Ruvi) Rivlin, as well as the Head of European Parliament Liaison Department at the Israeli delegation to the EU in Brussels (2011-2014). 

Prior to that he served as Consul for Media and Public Affairs in New York, there he was responsible for Israel’s image in the United States and was the liaison person of Israel to the American media (2005-2009). 

Before that he served as spokesperson at the Embassy of Israel in Madrid, as well as  spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem. 

He holds an MBA degree from the Hebrew University Business School and speaks fluently 4 languages (Hebrew, English, Romanian and Spanish).
