Ioana Bianchi graduated in 2001 from the Faculty of General Medicine of the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, then specializing in "Public Health and Sanitary Management". In 2007 she obtained the title of Masters from the University of Medicine of Nantes, France, in the master's degree "Health / social management: national, European and international perspectives".

Dr Bianchi has worked since 2008 as a health strategy consultant for 2 consulting companies in France (CNEH and Altao), offering consultancy to both public and private hospitals, as well as regional and national health authorities.

Between 2011 and 2012, Ioana Bianchi was a personal advisor to the CNAS President, working on collaboration projects with the IMF and the World Bank. In 2012 Dr. Bianchi was a personal advisor to the Minister of Health and in 2013 head of the Medical Technologies Evaluation Unit within the Ministry of Health.

Between November 2013 and December 2019, Ioana Bianchi successively held the positions of Market Access Head for the Oncology Division of Novartis Pharma Romania SRL and that of Country Head of Corporate Affairs and Communication for the entire Novartis group in Romania.

Since January 2020, Ioana Bianchi is Director of External Relations of ARPIM, having as responsibility the relations with the authorities on different areas of interest (HTA, cost-volume contracts, financing of the health system, etc.) and with the patient and professional associations.
