After completing her study Health Science in 1985, Mirjam joined CRO’s resp. as CRA, data manager
and project manager. She is married with Jody and has 2 sons: Dylan and Morris (25 and 21 years
old). In 1993 she founded the CRO Clinical Trial Service BV in The Netherlands. Clinical Trial Service
BV has grown into a leading CRO with international expertise in clinical trials for clinical operations
(EC submission and monitoring clinical trials) and international home care service (remote / direct to
patient service / mobile nursing). Daily business takes place in more than 30 countries in- and outside
Europe, performing thousands of home care visits per year in all clinical phases and therapeutic
areas.
Professional services, advise based on expertise, easy communication and commitment with high
quality standards make it possible to perform visits at patient’s home in every country by local,
native speaking nurses for all procedures in agreement with all (inter)national regulations; a dream
for (pharma) companies involved in home care for clinical trials.
